OverviewThe Quality Engineer is responsible for quality control of a repackaging process including repackaging quality, data management, problem solving and tracking, and incoming material quality management of the production base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in quality management and quality tools and principles.
Essential Functions- Control and quality management of production line processes.
- Monitor and manage SPC, FAI, MES inspection, FIFO, error proofing, rework, equipment qualification.
- Ensure all quality-related activities are performed effectively and comply with company standards and requirements.
- Perform quality risk identification and initiate quality improvements.
- Manage changes in the production process and ensure implementation of process response plans.
- Provide training and support to enhance the PQE technicians' overall competency.
- Support process audits such as LPA.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production quality control or quality assurance, particularly in the vehicle manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of the basic principles of battery operations.
- Familiar with basic characteristics of communication faults and mechanical structure failure.
- Proficient in product failure analysis methods.
- Proficient in quality analysis and improvement tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and FTA.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
- Strong data analysis and processing abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill levels.
