$38/hour average effective hourly rate after training.
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus (terms apply; prior PFG employees within last 6 months are not eligible).

Work Schedule

Rotating 4‑day work week Monday‑Friday with occasional 5th day as needed.

Position Purpose

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Delivery drivers ensure customers’ products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, building lasting relationships with customers.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co‑workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Act as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.
  • Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
  • Count check items and verify customer invoices for loaded products.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
  • Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Perform damage control checks, scan, and contact supervisor about order removal per company policy.
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required; load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors.
  • Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are securely locked or secured.
  • Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork, and discard trash from trailers as required.
  • Complete daily record of hours of service and enter log per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, and keep trailers clear and clean.
  • At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ months commercial driving experience.
  • High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
  • Valid CDL

  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new one.
  • Able to hand‑lift and utilize two‑wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight.
