Missouri Valley College seeks a Financial Aid Representative to serve as a member of the financial aid team, assisting students throughout the financial aid process. This position involves managing communications, documenting requirements, and administering work-study timesheets and assignments, among other duties as assigned.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and staff regarding financial aid inquiries and policies.
• Assist in the processing of financial aid applications, ensuring timely and accurate evaluation of documents.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and policies.
• Coordinate work-study placements, including recruiting, hiring, and overseeing timesheets.
• Collaborate with the financial aid team to develop and implement strategies for effective communication and outreach to students.
• Evaluate and review financial aid applications, making determinations based on eligibility criteria.
• Provide guidance to students on financial literacy and budgeting skills.
• Assist with the preparation and dissemination of financial aid materials, including brochures and presentations.
• Participate in financial aid workshops and information sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Financial Aid.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, education, business, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in financial aid, customer service, or higher education is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial aid software preferred.
