Assist the Head Cook in various aspects of kitchen operation, including storage, preparation, and service of food.
Assist in maintaining sanitation of the general kitchen area. Responsible for correct portioning of food items.
Ensure that items packaged for home meal delivery are maintained at appropriate temperature and are served in correct portions.
Assists in maintaining the daily perpetual inventory system.
Pre-prepares menu items as appropriate for upcoming menus.
Responsible for ensuring at all times that standards of quality are met.
Must abide by all rules and regulations regarding food service safety and sanitation as well as all federal, state and local regulations and health codes .
Promote the Care Connection mission statement to provide resources and services that empower people to create healthy aging experiences.
Education Level: High School or GED preferred
Transportation:
Must have reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, drivers license
