Southwest Health and Human Services currently has an opening for a DD (Developmental Disabilities) Social Worker. This position is located in our Marshall office.
Southwest Health and Human Services (SWHHS) is a multi-county agency committed to strengthening individuals, families and communities by providing quality services in a respectful, caring and cost-effective manner.
This position's purpose is to provide case management services for individuals with developmental disabilities/related conditions, perform MN Choices Assessments, develop care plans, and communicate with families, clients and providers. Workers also act as guardian representative for state wards and complete all duties related to guardianship.
Minimum Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in any field and one year of experience as a social worker in a public or private social services agency.
