Salary ($21.53-$28.70)

• Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards, including visual and mechanical inspection of product.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; perform setups in accordance with established procedures; operate and load/unload equipment.
• Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders.
• Maintain and log information required to support traceability and quality.
• Participate in cross-training activities; maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition; perform other duties as required or directed.

Required:

• High school diploma, GED
• 2 year manufacturing machine operation experience
• Prior manufacturing experience with the ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, and bending required
• Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors
• Must be able to read a micrometer
• Demonstrated mechanical and computer skills
• Strong English reading, writing and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass background check and drug test

Preferred:

• Prior extrusion experience preferred
• Wire drawing/extrusion/cabling experience

• Will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently
• Occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds as needed
• Occasionally lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed
• Occasionally lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed
• Frequently lift and carry objects of 30-50 pounds as needed
• Occasionally push and pull reels
