Area Sales Manager

We have a new vacancy for an Area Sales Manager to join us working as part of our Sales Team covering the Central Region:
Sheffield, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Lincoln, Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

The Area Sales Manager is a key role within the UK Sales operation, targeted with developing, managing, and growing sales activities and driving profitable sales performance across the allocated region / sales area.

This position will be a full-time / permanent role and will ideally suit someone located within the sales area.

• To develop and drive forward sales plans and objectives for your area using a sales matrix.
• Build strong and beneficial relationships with key personnel in customers (Electrical wholesaler contractors)
• To deliver profitable sales performance to target levels
• To provide reports and insight as to opportunities to grow and develop your sales area

• A minimum of 2 years experience within the electrical manufacturing marketplace.
• A good sales track record with demonstrable market knowledge and experience
• Relevant and current connections within the key customers
• The drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation to underpin success
• Current and applicable UK car driving licence
• Appropriate IT and business management skills
