Schedule: Less than 19 hours a week

The purpose of this position is to support the lead instructor in the practical lab component of electromechanical courses. The Lab Assistant will assist students in conducting experiments, provide guidance on safety procedures, maintain lab equipment, and help create an engaging learning environment.

• Guide students through lab experiments, ensuring they understand the objectives and procedures, while following proper safety protocols.
• Answer student questions and clarify concepts related to electricity and electrical circuits.
• Regularly inspect and test lab equipment for functionality and safety.
• Help with inventory management, including tracking the use of consumables and equipment.

HS Diploma or equivalent and one year of education or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.

Ability to take direction; attention to detail and accuracy completing tasks.
