Certified Nursing Aide - Part time - Veterans

Compensation

This position starts at $19.43 per hour.

The Iowa Veterans Home is a long‑term care facility, located in Marshalltown, Iowa, with the mission of providing exceptional resident‑centered care and the highest quality of life to Iowa’s Veterans and spouses.

The Iowa Veterans Home has openings for full‑time Certified Nursing Aides with options to work:

• 8 hours on evening shift (2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.), working every other weekend

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Performs basic personal care of residents following a plan of care developed by the primary nurse to meet the resident care needs. Will complete documentation and sign off in resident charts and care plans. Certified Med Aides will pass medications as indicated on MAR.
