INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE LESS THAN 3 ATTENDANCE POINT IN ORDER TO APPLY

• Extensive knowledge and technical skill of rendering facility.
• Prior supervisory experience highly recommended.
• Good interpersonal relations; ability to handle conflict.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Work 40+ hours per week in rendering facilities
• Possible exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, strong odor, chemicals, machinery and vehicles.

• Supervise, evaluate and direct personnel on shift in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures.
• Stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of rendering employees; ensure proper training of employees.
• Anticipate and determine causes of delays in operations and take appropriate actions to meet schedules.
• Apply company employee relations policies in all dealings with employees.
• Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.
• Arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained (i.e., payroll, vacations, orders, weights).
• Arrange for trucks and railroad cars to be filled with appropriate product when scheduled; complete necessary paperwork.
• Work closely with other supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in each department and in plant facility.
