UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a PRN Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Marshalltown, IA.

Marshalltown

UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown just opened a new hospital in Marshall County in April 2022, offering the latest technology and state-of-the-art medical facility. In addition, it has primary care clinics located in Marshalltown, Conrad, State Center and Tama-Toledo and an Express Clinic in Marshalltown.

General

• Established team of Advanced Practitioners with great Physician support
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• PRN position with flexible scheduling
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• Telehospitalist service overnight
• No night shifts
• 12 hour shifts: 7a-7p
• Rounding on an average of 15 patients per shift
• Double coverage
• PRN coverage of PTO and sick call

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with inpatient medicine experience
• Board Certified
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
