Job Requirements And DutiesYou must be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
- Operate all delivery equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product and handle all food‑service procedures in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
- Meet the required delivery volume per shift and maintain quality standards for all orders.
Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.
Communication Skills- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outdoor deliveries and trash removal.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F and above in some areas.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
- Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler and storage areas.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing stairs.
- Drive to deliver pizzas within the designated area; multiple deliveries per shift.
- Walk between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
- Navigate five or more flights of stairs when necessary.
Standing, walking, and occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Stairs, ladders, and repetitive tasks are common. Full compliance with all safety protocols is required.
