Job Description:

** JOB SUMMARY
** The Neuropsychologist is responsible for evaluating and diagnosing individuals with neurological and neurobehavioral disorders.  Referrals come from a range of primary care providers and medical specialists.  We have a busy outpatient practice and also receive inpatient consults from our 298 bed hospital, which includes 34 intensive care beds, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, Level II adult and pediatric trauma teams, and both adult and pediatric subacute rehabilitation units.  

We are especially interested in a pediatric or lifespan neuropsychologist but will consider applications from neuropsychologists who specialize in adults.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* *** Minimum

Required:

** Ph.D. or PsyD.  Psychologist.

Must possess A doctoral degree from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by The Council For Higher Education And Accreditation and meet the American Board of Professional Psychology/ American Board Of Clinical Neuropsychology eligibility requirements in effect at the time the doctoral degree was awarded.

* *** Minimum

Required:

** Must have successfully completed at least one year of fellowship/postdoctoral studies in neuropsychology; ABPP/ABCN Board eligible.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Completion of 2 year fellowship/postdoc;
Two to five years of recent work experience in neuropsychology; ABBP/ABCN board certified.
** CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
*** The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
*** Minimum

Required:

** must have current Wisconsin license to practice psychology or be eligible for licensure in Wisconsin.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Otherwise, BLS certification required within three months of hire.
