Job Title: Service Advisor

• Greet customers in person or over the phone, asking detailed questions to understand equipment issues.
• Prepare and present accurate quotes and estimates, leveraging in‑depth knowledge of crane parts and labor.
• Coordinate with external vendors for sublet work required on customer units.
• Manage the service schedule to ensure timely completion of repairs and efficient shop workflow.
• Monitor technician time and repair progress to maximize efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to customers on repair progress.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers, ensuring clear communication and collecting payments.
• Assist with warranty claims at the branch level, collaborating with the warranty department to maximize vendor recovery.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior Service Advisor experience.
• Experience with heavy‑duty trucks and/or equipment operation.
• Strong communication skills for phone and in‑person interactions.
• Professionalism and excellent customer‑service skills.
• Proficient typing and ability to navigate multiple vendor applications and websites.

• Frequent to continuous seated work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
