We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions supporting our manufacturing operations. This position will be responsible for analyzing P&L results, identifying trends, engaging in cost optimization opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.
Responsibilities- Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis for key cost drivers, including sales, labor, materials, distribution, and overhead.
- Lead the development of annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts for our manufacturing locations.
- Partner with Supply Chain to develop forecasting and budgets for inbound/outbound freight as well as monthly variance analysis vs budget and prior year.
- Monitor financial metrics and KPIs to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in manufacturing workflows.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to develop continuous improvement strategies.
- Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely completion of fiscal financial month-end close.
- Provide financial analysis for capital investment projects, including ROI and NPV analysis for new machinery or process improvements.
- Support inventory management by analyzing inventory levels, turnover, and working capital.
- Utilize ERP systems and consolidation tools to extract and visualize data and represent Finance and Accounting on future ERP migration initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team on annual standard cost updates.
- Assist with ad hoc FP&A projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst; manufacturing experience a plus.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proactive, energetic approach and ability to challenge the status quo.
