* ** JOB SUMMARY
** The Occupational Therapist provides services for the purpose of promoting health and wellness and to those who have or are at risk for developing an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. The Occupational Therapist will select methods or strategies to direct the process of interventions, evaluate factors affecting activities of daily living and implements interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living.

The Occupational Therapist performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ mission, policies and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
* The Marshfield Medical Center is a tertiary care center, Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma center and a Primary Stroke Center. This position is in acute care, primarily working with general med/surg patients.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* ** For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
*** Minimum

Required:

** Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Master’s or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy.
** EXPERIENCE
* *** Minimum

Required:

** Supervised clinical internship(s) working with adult and/or pediatric populations to prepare for professional registration
** Preferred/Optional:
** None
* * CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
*** The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
*** Minimum

Required:

*** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
* Occupational Therapist license awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
** Preferred/Optional:
*** Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
** Work Schedule
** This position is eligible for full time benefits. Weekend and holiday rotation.
