Phlebotomist / Driver (Paid Training – Marshfield, Wisconsin) Mobiles

What You’ll Do- Register donors and walk them through the donation process.
- Conduct medical interviews to ensure donor eligibility.
- Perform venipunctures and collect blood with care and precision.
- Prioritize safety—for both donors and recipients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Operate the mobile drive vehicle and transport mobile staff safely and efficiently.
- Prepare collection sites, perform set‑up, and manage technology systems.
- Perform donor screening, mini‑physical examinations, and phlebotomy.
- Observe and provide care for donor reactions, including post‑reaction care and liaison with host organizations.
- Automate (Alyx and/or Trima) and respond to automation reactions; recruit and convert donors for automation.
- Rebook donors for future donation appointments.
- Maintain product integrity, ensure proper donor identification, and perform routine equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and pack units for transport when required.
- Adhere to all DOT guidelines when operating a full‑size commercial van/Promaster.
- Travel to other local collection sites as business needs dictate.
- Understand and comply with all regulatory, compliance, and standard operating policy requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints with a timely and complete response, escalating to leadership when appropriate.
- Perform other duties reasonably within the scope of this job classification.
- Open availability required between 4:00 AM and 10:00 PM, including weekends.
- Scheduled 8‑to‑10‑hour shifts; schedules are provided 2–3 weeks in advance.
- Paid training: 4 weeks classroom followed by 4 weeks of alternating field training.
- Attendance required during the full 8‑week training period.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
Under direct supervision by department leadership, perform phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products, interact with donors and coordinators, and provide a high level of customer service to deliver an excellent donation experience. Operate the mobile drive vehicle and transport the mobile staff safely and efficiently.
Total Rewards Package CompensationThe target salary for this position is $17.00 per hour.

- 1–3 years of relevant people‑facing experience preferred.
- Less than 1 year of experience may be considered.
- Valid driver’s license with prior driving experience.
- Knowledge of standardized work routines, simple equipment, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures and safety rules.
- Basic mathematical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to apply judgment to written or oral instructions.
- Ability to organize work for productive workflow.
- Flexibility to work independently and within a team, with good communication skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize computer applications such as Ceridian, Hemasphere, Oracle, and Hema Terra.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
- Vehicle navigation system.
- Personal computer (desktop, laptop, tablet).
- General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copier).
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Screening equipment: lancet, sphygmomanometer (BP cuff), temperature probe, hemoglobin analyzer.
- Phlebotomy collection equipment: blood mixer, Trima.
