Private Home Care Specialist – Experienced CNA or Nurse

An individual in the Marshfield/Stratford area is seeking an experienced care professional to provide individualized assistance in a private residence. This opportunity is suited to someone with a strong background in hands-on patient care who values consistency, takes initiative, and can manage established care routines independently.

You’ll work directly with one individual instead of managing the competing demands of a facility environment. Attention to detail, sound judgment, respect for privacy, and the ability to follow care procedures are essential to this role.

Current scheduling needs include:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

$20.00 per hour

The selected caregiver will assist with daily care needs and established health-related routines.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and other personal care activities
• Managing catheter-related care routines
• Assisting with a prescribed bowel program, including manual evacuation- training provided
• Completing manual transfers and providing mobility support
• Assisting with range-of-motion exercises
• Observing skin condition and assisting with wound care
• Providing medication reminders according to established routines
• Maintaining a clean, organized care environment through light household tasks
• Operating the individual's personal vehicle for transportation when needed

This position involves manual transfers and requires the ability to lift more than 50 pounds when necessary. Applicants must be physically capable of performing these duties safely.

This role is intended for an established care professional, not someone entering the field for the first time.

Applicants must have:

• Current CNA certification or a background as a licensed nurse with relevant hands-on care experience
• At least one year of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation setting, or comparable clinical environment
• Practical experience with personal care and physical transfers
• The ability to work independently while following established care instructions
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professional judgment
• Reliable transportation and a backup plan for getting to scheduled shifts
• A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain appropriate auto insurance
• The ability to successfully pass a caregiver background check
