Every one of our tanks/systems are designed specifically per customer specifications to meet AND exceed their expectations. We offer everything from full custom Brewhouses including set up and install, to single tanks and we don't stop there! QTS offers process piping and installation, custom fabrication, tank repair, platforms, fittings/valves etc.

About

The Role

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer. This position will support manufacturing with 2D and 3D designs for projects and equipment. Primary responsibility will be to ensure we have the materials, equipment, and information necessary to complete the job. This position is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer’s goals while protecting and promoting the interests of QTS.

What You'll Do

• Create main assembly drawings.
• Create detail drawings from main assembly drawings.
• Create flat layouts for waterjet cutting.
• Create and revise main and detailed drawings.
• Create and revise technical routing and information sheets.
• Create and revise bills of materials.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in stainless steel tank design.
• 1-3 years of RECENT experience using AutoCAD, 3D modeling a plus but not required.
• Excellent skills/knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good MS Office skills:
  Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Good work ethic.
• Ability to take direction from others as well as working independently.

Optional Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Technical School in Mechanical Design / Drafting.
