Lead production teams in a fast-paced architectural openings (doors/frames) environment.

Own Tier board accuracy, KPI visibility, and countermeasure discipline.

Coach associates in lean methods, standard work, and safe, high-quality execution.

Available schedules (two roles)
Schedule 1:
Mon–Thurs, 2:30 pm–12:30 am; mandatory overtime every other Friday Schedule 2: 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 pm–6:00 amCore outcomes

Create an engaged, positive culture anchored in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Review metrics routinely; for every miss, drive root cause, corrective action, owners, and completion dates.

Protect the integrity of Tier Board data and cadence.

Conduct lean process audits; verify adherence to standards and 5S.Deliver hands-on training and coaching in lean tools and methodology.

Ensure role clarity and effective communication through all levels of the process.

Allocate people, machines, and materials to meet the Production Schedule and priorities.

Recommend process and method improvements to raise productivity and reduce scrap.

Interpret procedures and confirm proper equipment use to meet quality documents and standards.

Recruit, hire, develop, and performance-manage team members; resolve complaints in line with policy and law.

What you bring

Skills and capabilities

Strong written and verbal communication; proven leadership.

Self-motivated; effective independently and as a team player.

Organized, computer-literate; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Experience with Paycom, Workday, or ERP systems is an asset.

Analytical with high integrity, respect, tact, and diplomacy.

Bonus: HR and financial acumen.

Background Degree in a related field preferred; or high school diploma plus several years of supervisory experience.
2+ years of recent manufacturing experience in wood, metal, or similar materials.

Physical demands

Standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive motion for the duration of the shift.

Lifting up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Working at heights using ladders/aerial platforms; maneuvering 50+ lbs.

Extended periods of twisting, bending, stooping, and standing; strong manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.

Comfort in a manufacturing setting.
