Job Description:

** JOB SUMMARY
** The Registered Nurse Team Leader performs all of the job duties and responsibilities of the Registered Nurse and assists with the day-to-day supervisory duties and overall operations of their section acting as a resource and role model for the staff.  This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* ** For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
*** Minimum

Required:

** Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
** EXPERIENCE
* *** Minimum

Required:

** Two years’ nursing experience in area of training. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks; strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

* * CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
*** The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
*** Minimum

Required:

** Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License Compact License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
