Job Description:

** JOB SUMMARY
** The Unit Attendant I - Float works with the medical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse within a hospital unit to assist the staff and serve the patients in a variety of ways. The Unit Attendant I has responsibilities involving both direct and indirect patient care.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* ** For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
