Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the patient/family care plan to collect patient information and provide direct patient care, contributing significantly to the achievement of patient and family outcomes.

• Collect and record patient data accurately.
• Complete routine and delegated direct patient care activities.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Registered Nurse to prioritize workload.

  :
  Minimum required – none.
• Experience
  :
  Minimum required – none; preferred – experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Certifications/Licenses
  :
  • Minimum age requirement – 16 years old.
  • Must have or have had a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire (preferred at time of hire).
