Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3600

RN - Interventional Radiology

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per day, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotating day off
• 5 eight-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) may also be considered
• Weeknight call rotation approximately once every 3 weekdays
• Weekend call rotation once every 3 weekends (Friday through Monday)
• May be asked to participate in holiday call
• 30-minute call response time required
• No floating requirements
• Scrubs provided by facility; personal scrub caps are permitted
• Work across 7 total rooms including 4 Cath Lab/EP rooms and 3 IR rooms
• Average of 20+ cases per day across all rooms
• Common procedures include port placements, liver biopsy, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and central line placements, and neuro cases such as coiling, thrombectomy, and embolizations
• Responsibilities include verifying orders and consent, head-to-toe assessments, patient education, room setup, circulating cases, administering moderate sedation, assisting anesthesia providers, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, and documentation
• Participate in STEMI call team consisting of 1 RN and 3 Techs
• Coordinate with team members including team leads, techs, and anesthesia providers
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• Must have IABP experience
• Proficiency with Merge and Cerner EMR/equipment required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin or compact state RN license required

This acute care facility is a Level 2 trauma center offering a comprehensive range of medical services. The interventional radiology department operates across 7 fully equipped suites and labs, supporting a high volume of daily cases spanning cardiovascular, neuro, and general interventional procedures. The department maintains a structured staffing model with dedicated team leads overseeing scheduling and staffing, and supports specialized teams including a STEMI call team for emergent cardiac care.
