In this role, you provide top-notch service at the meat and seafood counter, restock and rotate product on the sales floor, and help keep our department running smoothly. We proud to offer the freshest, most sustainable seafood selection in the state and serve the Certified Angus Beef brand—so guests know they bringing home quality they can feel good about. From special orders to food safety standards, you play a key role in creating a department guests trust and return to again and again.
What You Do:
As a Meat Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver Helpful Service: Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions.
- Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays: Inspect, rotate, and replenish meat products and supplies.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
- Collaborate with the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed as a Festival Foods Meat Clerk, you should have:
- Strong Communication
Skills:
Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment. - Food Safety: A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices.
- Ability to Multitask: and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment.
- Safety Mindset: An understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them. This role requires proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc.

This is a part-time or full-time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
