Assistant Professor - Jackson Family Medicine, Martin TN
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is seeking a Family Physician to join as faculty in the Jackson Family Medicine Residency Program. This is a part‑time, non‑tenure‑track Assistant Professor position located in Martin, Tennessee.
About the ProgramThe program is a rural community‑based residency located about an hour from Jackson, Tennessee. Faculty mentor residents in continuity clinic, supervise patient care, and contribute to teaching, administration, community service and research.
Responsibilities- Teach and supervise residents in outpatient continuity clinic settings.
- Provide patient care and clinical supervision.
- Participate in program administration and quality improvement.
- Engage in community service, scholarly activities, and research.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Current state of Tennessee licensure.
- Experience in rural or community‑based practice preferred.
- Commitment to teaching and clinical service.
