Position: Flight Nurse - Starting at $28.09+ DOE
We’re hiring a Flight Nurse to work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, including scene call work. Safety, effective, and efficient patient care are key pillars of our services, and you’ll work on a professional team committed to high safety standards for both crew and customers.
Responsibilities- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, conduct regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Share shift change information and follow protocols to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
- Be punctual, reliable, professional, and uphold safety and service standards.
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
- Trauma Certification where required.
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
- Achieve advanced certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) within 24 months of hire.
