Senior Project Manager – Actalent

Join Actalent and lead multi‑million dollar electrical industry projects across public and private sectors. This permanent position based in Martinez, CA offers a competitive salary range of $150,000–$190,000 per year with full onsite work and opportunities for long‑term growth until 2032.

• Lead all project activities in accordance with contract documents, budgets, schedules, quality control, and company objectives.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and report potential risks or discrepancies to senior management.
• Develop and support site security, quality control, and safety programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedule updates, and more.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage the master scheduling process.
• Conduct on‑site observations to monitor compliance with safety and quality control measures.
• Provide technical advice to clients and employees.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop recovery action plans.
• Enforce compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, safety standards, and contracts.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive project management responsibilities, preferably in electrical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
• Experience with union work forces and collective bargaining agreements.
• Strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for developing employees.

• PE license and Professional Certifications are a plus.
• Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project; experience with Accubid Classic or Enterprise preferred.
• Strong ability to influence and drive positive outcomes.
• Experience in mentoring and managing a project management team.
• Knowledge of electrical and low voltage design and construction.

The position involves a combination of office work and field visits. The role requires commuting to field locations and navigating job sites with exposure to outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and high noise levels.

Permanent position based out of Martinez, CA.

Salary range: $150,000–$190,000 per year. Long‑term project scheduled until 2032.
