The Relationship Manager II (RM II) primary role is to consult with members to identify needs, refer appropriate products/solutions, and follow up on pending transactions. Meeting and exceeding performance goals and revenue targets will be part of their Minimum Performance Standards. It will also be their responsibility to identify and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity. The RM II position also performs a wide variety of duties related to handling member transactions including but not limited to opening/closing all types of deposit and loan accounts, posting deposits, withdrawals, loan/VISA payments, performing account transfers, recommending other products and services, and any kind of account maintenance.
All transactions are expected to be accurate and completed in a timely manner to achieve Credit Union Member Service goals. The RM II also profiles the member’s account to recommend product and service solutions such as Investment Services, Insurance Products, First Mortgages, Small Business product services, consumer deposit and lending services, and Autoland. As an RM II, they will assist with coaching/mentoring the rest of staff, make observations and suggest alternative methods in profiling member accounts, and assist with leadership functions in the absence of branch management.
This role’s primary focus is the member experience and it is expected to represent Nuvision Federal Credit Union professionally at all times, showing mutual respect while collaborating with others to build strong relationships internally and with members. They must maintain confidentiality with member information, pay attention to detail, demonstrate sound judgment, and act with tact and diplomacy.
- Consult with members.
- Identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on any pending transactions.
- Hold conversations that matter with members either in person or over the phone.
- Input, process, and fund all consumer and small business loan types.
- Call various call reports to garnish more business during the work day and scheduled call nights.
- Perform various RM duties, including opening new Member Accounts, completing appropriate forms, and recommending products/services.
- Perform a wide variety of account maintenance tasks.
- Assist with leadership functions in the absence of branch management and coach teller line.
- Makes observations and suggests alternative methods of profiling member accounts.
- Identify and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity.
- Complete all required training and compliance modules.
- Support continuous improvement activities and Credit Union events such as car sales, open house, and enrollments.
- Represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Treat all team members and members with respect.
- 18 months financial institution experience with prior loan experience and reaching service and performance goals.
- Strong knowledge of deposit / loan products.
- Proven ability to garner business.
- Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Successful completion of all compliance related coursework.
- Notary.
- NMLS Registered.
- 24 months experience with Nuvision, prior loan experience, and reaching service and performance goals.
- Proven ability to generate business while participating in community business development.
- Coaching/mentoring experience.
- Bi‑lingual preferred.
High School or Equivalent.
