Payroll Specialist at ERRG
ERRG is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at our Martinez, CA office. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with payroll software, and the ability to manage multi-state payroll processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing weekly timesheets and multi-state payroll for 200+ employees, including compliance with prevailing wage rates and certified payroll reporting.
- Updating insurance rates and reporting via required platforms.
- Handling out-of-cycle payroll, garnishments, deductions, and tax filings.
- Supporting audits and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
- Experience with ERP payroll systems, preferably JD Edwards or similar.
- Knowledge of certified payroll reporting and construction industry payroll is required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting.
- Experience with Oracle platforms and ADP Smart Compliance is a plus.
