Role Overview
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery-focused care, administering medications and medical treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective direct care in compliance with policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Implement direct care per established policies and standards
- Collaborate with team to support clients with serious mental health conditions
- Use personal vehicle to transport clients, with mileage reimbursement
- Licensed and accredited LVN/LPT certification with current licensure
- Current CPR/BLS and CPI certification
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with serious mental illness
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and willingness to use personal vehicle for client transportation
- Willingness to perform physical assessments and pass background and health screenings
