WVUHS Medical Group seeks an OB/Gyn Laborist Physician. The successful candidate will practice primarily in Martinsburg, WV.

Responsibilities: Practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Laborist.

Qualifications: MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligibility for state medical license, completion of an OB/Gyn Residency program, and board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics/Gynecology. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Our OB/Gyn providers offer a full spectrum of women's health services, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Our hospital handles approximately 1,100 deliveries annually with a mixed model of MDAs, CRNAs, and midwives with delivery privileges.

We provide preventive exams, specialized gynecologic treatments, and obstetric services with the latest advances in care.

Berkeley Medical Center, serving as a 195-bed non-profit hospital, offers radiology, MRI, PET, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, wound care, Level III NICU, ICU, oncology, neurosurgery, and a Cardiac Cath Lab. Recent expansions include new outpatient and main hospital ORs for robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health.

The WVU Health System, with over 2,700 beds and more than 20 hospitals including a children's hospital and five institutes, is West Virginia's largest health system. It features a 700-bed academic medical center in Morgantown.

Our Eastern Panhandle location is close to Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, MD. It offers a rural atmosphere, lower cost of living, and easy access to major cities, with growing industries and a steady influx of professionals.
