West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division seeks a Pulmonology/Critical Care/Sleep Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Berkeley and Jefferson County, WV.
DutiesPractice in the areas of pulmonary/critical care/sleep. Provide excellent patient care and be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
QualificationsCandidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license and DEA. Successful candidate must have completed internal medicine residency program, as well as pulmonary/critical care fellowship program. Sleep fellowship preferred. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in pulmonary/critical care/sleep. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
LocationBerkeley County is a rural atmosphere with easy accessibility to Washington DC/Baltimore. The Eastern Panhandle is about an hour from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD. It has a lower cost of living and growing telecommuting and high‑tech industries.
