Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager

Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager in the Civil/Site Practice for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll collaborate with our project teams, mentor staff and project consultants, and help manage tasks and projects. You will work with team members to design and review site layouts, erosion and sedimentation control and stormwater controls, utility and grading plans, and develop project details and specifications.

In addition, you'll participate in the site development/permitting process. You will begin working with clients, contractors, and local/state government officials on all aspects of the project – from proposal support, conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction.

• 5+ years of engineering experience;
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or related field) required;
• Engineer in Training/Engineer Intern certification (EIT/EI), and ability to obtain Professional Engineering licensure in the future;
• Practical experience with technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D;
• Experience supporting private or public sector work preferred;
