Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Every other weekend requirement (Saturday/Sunday for day shift)

• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio for both day and night shifts

• Must be willing to help with upcoming holidays and start before Christmas

• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)

• BSN not required, first-time travelers accepted

• Use Epic EMR system for charting and documentation

• Work with Phillips Cardiac Monitors and review telemetry strips every 4 hours

• Dress code:
Navy blue scrubs, navy or white jacket, white or navy undershirt, natural hair colors only

• Distasteful tattoos must be covered

• Floor-specific orientation of 1-2 days depending on experience

• Manage various cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Labetalol, and others at set rates

• Care for patients with elevated troponin, chest pain, pre/post catheterization, STEMI/NSTEMI, and cardiac conditions

• Rarely required to float, but may assist ICU overflow or ortho/med-surg when needed

• Work on either 2nd floor (20 private beds) or 6th floor (22 beds, mix of private and semi-private)

• Must live more than 50 miles from facility and meet specific submission requirements
