Overview

UHA University Health Associates is seeking a Physician Recruitment Coordinator to lead and manage the full‑scope recruitment, onboarding, and retention of physicians, providers, and faculty. The role is integral to workforce planning, compliance, and integration efforts across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
    • Coordinate end‑to‑end physician, provider, and faculty recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Partner with department and search chairs to develop recruitment strategies, selection processes, and interview panels.
    • Execute recruitment events, marketing initiatives, and incentive plans to achieve staffing targets.
    • Utilize behavioral‑based interview techniques to assess candidate fit and alignment with UHA values.
    • Develop candidate experience programs and manage workforce analytics.
  • Onboarding and Integration
    • Act as primary liaison for new employee onboarding, ensuring timely completion of credentialing, benefits, and credential searches.
    • Collaborate with onboarding specialists and clinical departments to deliver a seamless orientation experience.
    • Monitor onboarding progress, resolve issues, and support relocation and dual‑career initiatives.
    • Initiate signing bonus payments and maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Retention and Engagement
    • Conduct formal retention activities (30‑day stay interview, 6‑month stay interview, welcome gift) throughout the first year of employment.
    • Analyze exit interview data and develop retention improvement plans.
  • Compliance and Workforce Planning
    • Maintain compliance with OIG, Stark Laws, HPSA, MUHA qualifications, EEOC, Department of Labor, and Immigration regulations.
    • Provide data and reporting for current workforce state analysis and gap analysis.
    • Develop and implement action plans to close identified gaps and support expansion and integration activities.
Qualifications
  • Education
    – Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, AND at least one (1) year of professional HR, physician recruitment, sales or marketing experience.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree AND at least two (2) years of professional HR, physician recruitment, sales or marketing experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fellow of Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (FASPR).
  • Certification as a Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, Certified Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP), or Certified Employee Retention Professional (CERP).
  • Experience with recruitment, retention, onboarding, integration, compensation, contract administration, and negotiation in a healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements
  • Extended periods of sitting and computer usage.
  • Travel expected on an average 20% of time.
Working Environment
  • Standard, high volume office environment.
Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to all aspects of employment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Additional

Job Description
  • Full‑scope in‑house, onsite physician and APP recruitment experience covering sourcing through onboarding; academic recruitment experience a plus.
  • CPRP (AAPPR) or CMSR (AAMM) certification preferred.
Schedule

40 hours per week.
