Connect-Vets is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through programs addressing food insecurity, community engagement, and overall well‑being. Position Overview

The Fundraiser will play a vital role in helping Connect‑Vets achieve its mission by securing financial support from individuals, businesses, and community partners. This person will develop and implement fundraising strategies, organize events, and build relationships that generate sustainable funding for our veteran programs.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support Connect‑Vets programs.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and local businesses.
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events, community drives, and donor appreciation activities.
  • Research and write grant proposals to foundations and corporations.
  • Maintain accurate donor records, track contributions, and prepare progress reports.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create fundraising materials and promote campaigns through social media and community outreach.
  • Represent Connect‑Vets at public events, meetings, and speaking engagements.
Key Skills
  • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or nonprofit development (preferred).
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping veterans and a belief in the mission of Connect‑Vets.
