Full-Time Nurse Practitioner for OBOT Clinic at Apple Gate Recovery

Location: Martinsburg, WV

Our focus is on delivering high quality, patient‑centered care for addiction to prescription medications and other opioids. Through evidence‑based medicine, medication‑assisted treatment, counseling, and behavioral services, Apple Gate offers the most successful option for many patients.

Full‑Time Nurse Practitioner opportunities in the OBOT clinic involve engaging patients in comprehensive addiction treatment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to best practices in opioid dependence management.

• Knowledge of various substances of abuse, the disease of addiction, and signs and symptoms of detoxification.
• Collects and records data such as complete HPI and Assessment and Plan for each patient in a comprehensive, accurate, and systematic manner.
• Counsels patients and helps them understand their limitations and abilities.
• Documents patient progress or regression according to established policies and procedures during appointments or upon notification of change in status from the clinical coordinator or treatment center director.
• Supervises and instructs patients in oral medication self‑administration and health education as needed.
• Knowledge of program policies and procedures.

• Must be licensed in the state of West Virginia.
• 6‑months MAT/Addiction experience required.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
