RN - ICU

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; every other weekend; holiday rotations.

Join an experienced ICU team where you will provide critical care to patients in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for caring for an average daily census of 16-17 patients, with a focus on both Medical and Surgical Intensive Care as well as Neurosurgical patients. The unit features a 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratio in ICU settings and 1:3 ratio in Stepdown settings, ensuring high-quality, personalized care.

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and provide essential interventions as required.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and preventive measures.
• Document patient care activities clearly and accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).

• Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS are required; TNCC preferred.
• Experience in an ICU setting with exposure to ventilators and critical care protocols.
