Maintenance Mechanic

Complete Building Services is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Mechanic in support of an operations and maintenance (O&M) contract for the Martinsburg, WV Internal Revenue Service (IRS) facility.

Requirements: 4 years of experience obtained within the past seven years in maintenance, repair, and operation of complex building equipment and systems. Journeyman level experience in at least two of the following trades: HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing, electrical, etc. Relevant knowledge of the remaining trades is desirable.

Tuesday‑Saturday 1600‑2400; days off Sunday and Monday.

• Understand written and oral instructions to perform the required work.
• Perform basic building maintenance of a government commercial office building.
• Support mechanical and electrical heating, ventilating, and air‑conditioning machinery.
• Make minor adjustments and repairs to building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Perform minor touch‑up painting and preventive maintenance such as changing filters, cleaning floor drains, and replacing light bulbs.
• Respond to service requests under guidance of the PM, Chief Engineer, or Shift Supervisor.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools.
• Perform emergency repairs and be available for after‑hour and weekend work.
• Operate a forklift or man‑lift when required.
• Work effectively with customers, building tenants, and team members.
• Read architectural and manufacturing blueprints and generate design concepts.
• Operate basic office equipment (cell phone, tablet, telephone, fax, copy scanner).

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 30 desired.
• Existing HSPD‑12 determination for work desired.
