We’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and people-oriented Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Martinsburg, WV team. In this role, you’ll help individuals explore career opportunities, connect with employers, and take meaningful steps toward a more independent future.

• Empower individuals:
  Help participants identify their strengths, interests, skills, and career goals.
• Support career development:
  Assist with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and job readiness.
• Connect people with opportunities:
  Identify job openings and match participants with employers that align with their abilities and interests.
• Build employer relationships:
  Develop connections with local businesses and promote inclusive hiring practices.
• Provide ongoing support:
  Offer job coaching, onboarding assistance, and follow-up to help individuals succeed and remain employed.
• Encourage independence:
  Help participants build confidence, workplace skills, and long-term employment success.
• Maintain accurate records:
  Complete case notes, employment documentation, and other required reports.
• Engage with the community:
  Travel locally to meet with participants, employers, and community partners.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, adaptable, and committed to helping others reach their potential.

• Relevant work or life experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage an assigned caseload, and stay organized.
• Valid driver’s license, and a reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
