Provides occupational therapy services for the treatment of physical and psychological dysfunctions. Provides direct patient care using a variety of sensorimotor, functional, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help patients regain physical or mental functioning. Supervises occupational therapy assistants, support personnel and students. Participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with physical and psychological dysfunctions.
• Use sensorimotor, functional, educational, recreational, and social activities to help patients regain functioning.
• Appropriately supervise occupational therapy assistants, support personnel and students.
• Participate in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

• Graduation from an accredited academic program in occupational therapy, or foreign trained program equivalent recognized by Indiana PLA.
• Current license in the State of Indiana.
• Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (preferred).
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA (required).
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
