Respiratory Therapy - RRT, CRT, RCP, RN, LPN | Indiana Fitness Works
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist or Nurse to join our Respiratory Therapy Department at Grand Valley Health and Rehab in Martinsville, Indiana. The successful candidate will provide respiratory care to residents in a long-term care setting with a focus on geriatrics. Previous ventilator and tracheostomy experience is a plus but not required; on-site training is available.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer and document respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs such as oxygen saturation levels and heart rate
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive resident care
- Respond to emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed
- Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
- Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Basic life support certification required
- Respiratory Therapy students are welcome to apply
