This role is perfect for self-motivated, energetic individuals who enjoy connecting with homeowners to help them protect and enhance their homes through our roofing, siding, and gutter services. As an Outside Roofing Specialist, you'll educate clients on storm damage repairs and provide affordable solutions to safeguard their most valued investment.

This allows Outside Sales Representatives to have more free time and not manage projects. We ensure prompt payment of commissions as soon as we receive payment from clients.

Compensation & Benefits for Outside Sales Representative:
  • Performance-based pay: activity-based
  • High commission: on approved sales
  • Expected annual earnings: $65,000 - $265,000
  • Vehicle allowance: for qualifying vehicles

Responsibilities for Outside Sales Representatives:
  • Sales approach: prospect, qualify, identify, and close new sales opportunities through canvassing, referrals, preset leads, networking, and social media
  • Territory management: maximize and effectively manage assigned sales territories
  • Exterior inspections: conduct thorough property inspections for wind or hail damage
  • Claims conversion: turn inspections into insurance claims and signed contracts
  • Contract review: walk homeowners through scope of work and secure agreements
  • Insurance coordination: meet with insurance adjusters on-site
  • Payment collection: collect deductibles and payments from homeowners
  • Referrals: build client relationships to encourage referrals
  • Trust-building: exceed expectations and deliver on promises
  • Customer education: inform clients about industry standards and products
  • Sales pipeline management: use CRM to track leads and opportunities
  • Communication: maintain contact with leadership, clients, and office staff
  • Meetings: attend weekly sales meetings
  • Sales process adherence: follow structured sales policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of proven full-cycle sales experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Smartphone: must have or be willing to obtain a smartphone capable of downloading apps and capturing photos
  • CRM experience: required for managing client interactions and sales tracking
  • Independent work ethic: self-reliant and capable of managing tasks without close supervision
  • Goal-oriented: committed to achieving personal and professional growth targets
  • Experience canvassing door-to-door: preferred
  • Valid driver’s license: required in any state
  • Age: 21 or older (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Internal motivation and drive
  • Dedication to personal career development and goal achievement
  • Reliable vehicle with insurance coverage: required
