Vacancy: HVAC Adjunct – Patrick & Henry Community College, Virginia’s Community College System (VCCS) – Martinsville, VA

Salary: $40.00/hr (fixed hourly rate)

This position is a part‑time adjunct faculty role teaching HVAC courses. Responsibilities include planning, delivering, and assessing instruction in a classroom setting for a diverse student body. The role may involve in‑person, hybrid, or online instruction.

• Plan and teach HVAC courses effectively to students with varied academic backgrounds.
• Use computer and other technologies for instruction.
• Communicate clearly in written and oral formats.
• Assist with emergency duties as required by agency or state government.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years HVAC experience.
• Familiarity with computer and instructional technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
