The substitute school nurse works under the direction and supervision of the District Nurses and assistant superintendent. Central office will assign the nurse duties at an individual school depending on the needs of the district. The substitute nurse will administer medications and directly maintain healthcare needs of the students in their assigned buildings, working with the principal, staff and families as needed.
- RN with a bachelor's degree preferred
- Certified in CPR
- Experience working in a hospital or school setting preferred
