Registered Nurse – Wound

Schedule:

Monday – Friday.

Location Type:
In‑Person at Sovah Health – Martinsville.

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, specializing in wound care for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develops individualized care plans, maintains clinical competencies, performs transcutaneous oxygen monitoring, and assists with wound debridement and dressing changes.
• Accurately documents care, advocates for patient well‑being, and performs additional duties as assigned by the Medical Director of Wound Care/HBO, the Wound Care/HBO Coordinator, the Director of Pulmonary Services, or their designee.

• Graduated from a professional nursing school.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience with medical/surgical patients; wound care experience preferred.
