Description:
The position involves caring for a diverse patient population across all ages. The registered nurse will be responsible for evaluating patient needs and developing care plans. Common diagnoses include post-operative orthopedic procedures and total joints. The registered nurse will work collaboratively within a medical-surgical telemetry unit. Patient-to-nurse ratios are maintained at 1:4. The position requires participation in a random drug screening process.
All travelers must have the required certifications prior to starting the role. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. There is a weekly requirement for weekend hours. Flexibility to float within a 25-mile radius may be necessary. The work environment emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication.
Dress code policy allows for any color scrubs, but casual wear is not acceptable.
