Position Overview The APP will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient internal medicine setting. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, clinically strong, and committed to delivering exceptional care across a diverse patient population.###

Key Responsibilities
* Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
* Perform health assessments, preventive care, and patient education
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
* Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and care team members
* Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
* Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives### Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
* Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or eligibility)
* National board certification
* DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
* Previous internal medicine or primary care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply###

** Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

* * Licensure/Certification:
** Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP), DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.

** Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
