RESPONSIBILITIES
Primarily responsible for the financial reporting for multiple venture capital funds. This position will report to a Senior Accounting Manager.
- Prepare daily/weekly journal entries in connection with fund activity
- Prepare quarterly financial statements
- Prepare schedules and provide support in connection with the annual audit
- Assist in managing cash flow needs
- Various ad-hoc tasks, and other projects and deadlines that arise in relation to above
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1 - 3 years of experience in public accounting, fund accounting, and/or fund operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Allvue is a plus
- CPA preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize work
- Excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented, a successful problem solver, and a team player - Knowledge of GAAP
- Works well under pressure and responds to deadline with urgency
